Version 2.5 Highlights
Version 2.5 contains many enhancements to make the program more powerful, more flexible and more reliable than ever. While most of these tweaks and additions are behind the scenes, a few can be seen and explored immediately.
Motion Backgrounds: Now you can superimpose text over video and animation clips without the use of an external key device. To do it, simply assign a video or Flash file as the background to a Lyric, Bible or Text cue. See Motion Backgrounds.
PowerPoint Playback: Play a .ppt presentation file straight from MediaShout, by assigning the file to a Show cue (yep, a new cue type). Each slide is treated as a subcue in the MediaShout Script. See Show Cues.
CCLI SongSelect Import: If you're a member of CCLI's SongSelect lyric service, you can search, download and import songs from the SongSelect website straight into the MediaShout song library. See Import Songs.
Multiple-Song Deletion: If you've ever imported a bunch songs only to discover that they were already in the library, you'll appreciate this one. ShoutSinger now lets you select multiple songs (as many as you want) and delete them all at once. See Manage Song Records.
Automatic Text Scaling: A major enhancement, this selectable feature scales a Text cue document's fonts and margins to vastly improve the likelihood that it will look the same on the display screen as it did the text editor – even if the screen resolution has changed in the meantime. See Automatic Text Scaling.
